Micro-giving is our superpower!
And you are our H.E.R.O.
Micro-giving is small monthly giving with massive collective power … it’s our superpower.
Instead of a one-time gift, supporters commit to contributing a modest amount each month ($25, $10, or even $5) to sustain Safe Shelter’s critical programs year-round.
While major gifts help us make big leaps forward, monthly donors keep our doors open.
When hundreds of people commit to giving monthly, those small acts of generosity add up to lasting stability, for our organization and for the families we serve.

What Is the real H.E.R.O. Campaign?
The real H.E.R.O. (How Everyone Really Overcomes) domestic violence campaign is Safe Shelter’s year-end micro-giving initiative, designed to inspire our community to take small, consistent action that creates big, lasting impact for survivors of domestic violence.
Domestic violence is the third largest crime in Boulder County, and Longmont experiences a disproportionately high number of cases despite having a smaller population. Every day, someone in our community reaches out for help, and Safe Shelter must continue to be ready to answer that call.
Your monthly support will ensure that we are always able to provide 24/7 shelter, counseling, advocacy, and outreach to families fleeing abuse. Together, we can make safety a reality for everyone.
