Safe Shelter 2017 Symposium on Domestic Violence: Mobilizing and Engaging Men & Boys

Safe Shelter’s 2017 Symposium will present an innovative day and one-half of performances (evening and full day), awareness-raising and skill-building to help create a culture that promotes healthy, respectful masculinity.

The event will offer value to advocates and other service providers, community visionaries and faith leaders, young adults and those who educate and work with youth, their parents, lawyers and law officers. Keynote: Sam Bullington, Ph.D., Instructor at CU Boulder’s Department of Women’s and Gender Studies. Featured presenters include Men Can Stop Rape, a national award-wining program reaching over 2 million youth and professionals; Ben Atherton-Zeman, spokesman and international presenter/performer and additional area experts in their fields.
